The Financial Playbook My Parents Never Had

I grew up without a financial role model.

My parents worked hard and did everything they could for our family but money was never something we talked about. There was no investing, no planning, no framework for thinking about the future. The focus was always on making it through next month’s bills.

In this episode I talk with my sister Chelsea about where I came from, why I chose a career in finance, and what becoming a dad changed about how I think about money, time, and what it means to build something worth passing down.
